Profiles Summary
A description of the profiles and how they are classified follows:
The profiles are organized and classified in a range of series. Each series builds upon the same core question template, and provides a contextual (Community, Hospital etc) fit with that series, and thus the terminology used (Community, Hospital etc.). The reporting is similar with each profile within a series and can be easily interpreted by a trained Spiral Dynamics Integral (SDi) practitioner. All instruments have their own 'guidance notes' available for online PeopleSCAN account holders.
The series are outlined below:
The Value Systems Series
A series of instruments that provide insight into the value systems and 'core intelligence' profiles of an individual - this data can be aggregated to provide a group profile, as well.
THE PSYCHOLOGICAL MAP - FORM A
For mapping value systems, it is the 'classic' 40-item value system assessment instrument that pioneered this self reporting approach to understanding acceptance and rejection of value systems.
The six Value Systems measured, purple to yellow, for both acceptance and rejection, are elements of Graves' Levels of Psychological Existence Theory. They reflect different world view, belief structures and operating systems.
FORM B
For mapping value systems, this established and simple, 10 question, value system assessment instrument that supports a self reporting approach to understanding value systems.
The seven Value Systems measured, purple to Turquoise, are elements of Graves' Levels of Psychological Existence Theory. They reflect different world view, belief structures and operating systems
VALUES TEST
This test of Values Systems is based on the pioneering studies of the late Clare W Graves, Professor Emeritus Psychology, Union College, New York
The seven Value Systems measured here, purple to turquoise, for both acceptance and rejection, are elements of Graves' Levels of Psychological Existence Theory. They reflect different world views, belief structures, and operating systems.
This 20 question instrument is a leap forward in mapping 'value systems' as they operate in individuals and groups.
Discover and apply the world of 'value systems' and the influence of these core intelligences in all your activities.
Change State Series
Change State Indicator (CSI)
The Change State Indicator (CSI) is based upon the pioneering studies of the late Clare W Graves, Professor Emeritus Psychology, Union College, New York.
Understanding order, chaos and change in turbulent times The Change State Indicator is the first measure of the core changes in people that produce 'value systems' This test reveals a flow-like 'change' profile of the person Additional scales are built around a stability factor (PREFERS ORDER and/or THRIVES ON CHAOS) and FIRST-ORDER and SECOND-ORDER CHANGE Finally, the test indicates one's readiness to accept change or preference to stay within the givens.
The CSI displays your relative concentration of energy within the flow of change Your scores will reflect composite summaries, since you may be in different change states in different areas of your life.
SCAN Series - The SCAN series assesses:
- The nature of the overall 'Fit' between an individual and their job, any supervision, work group and organisation;
- The multiple bottom lines of today's organisation: Purpose, Principles, People, Profit, Planet, Trust and Respect;
- An assessment of the dominant ways of thinking, the value systems and core intelligences, range purple to yellow, that are influencing all that the individual and organisation does both internally and externally;
- An assessment of the change state and the nature of change that may be being experienced by an individual;
- An assessment of the executive intelligences - translational, transformational and entrepreneurial;
- The personal perception of and present and desired organising codes within the organisation;
- Personal preferences for 1st and 2nd Order Change;
- Personal preferences for analogue and digital thinking styles.
The reporting from SCAN can manifest in many ways from a dashboard representation to a full graphical reporting and analysis
